‘Brigid,gold-red woman,
Brigid, flame and honeycomb,
Brigid,sun of womanhood,
Brigid, lead me home.
You are a branch in blossom.
You are a sheltering dome.
You are my bright precious freedom.
Brigid,lead me home.’
~ Irish Folk Prayer to the Goddess
