Mythic Dawn's much anticipated second issue is here! This follow up issue does not disappoint. We feature a roster of excellent writers, poets, and artists in this issue. This issue also features our first interview with the lead singer of the band Skyforger on how Latvian mythology has influenced his music. Article topics range from discussions on ancient sacred sites and lost deities of Europe to traditions with origins in our pagan past and the meaning of myth. Most importantly, every page of this journal takes the reader one step closer to reconnecting with our indigenous European worldview.

Pagan Poems: Volume 1

"Pagan Poems" is an illustrated collection of poetry written by Carolyn Emerick. The poetry is inspired by myth and folklore, the beauty of nature, the human senses, and, of course, love.

This collection is the antithesis of "modernist" styles of poetry. Stylistic influences include classics such as Byron, Poe, and Shakespeare.

It will appeal to those who love classical lyrical poetry, rhythm, rhyme, and meter, and to those who love to be transported to misty other realms of the mind.

The volume is richly illustrated in full color to aid in the full aesthetic experience.

Currently, this book is available as an e-book in
PDF download, and in print from Amazon.com.

And Volume II is finally here!

The description is the same as Volume I. Just different poems (wink, wink).

This volume also has a wide spread. Whereas Vol I might have featured more loose and airy feelings, this volume narrows in on some more specific mythic figures, folktales, and personal experiences. But, ultimately, it should give the same range of experience as the first.

It features mythic transcendence, folkloric forays, personal emotion, life experience, and a range emotions common to the human experience.

Available in e-book PDF format, and in print via Amazon.

The European Fairy Tales Series explores indigenous European cultural heritage as it is preserved in the realm of folklore. Every book begins with an introduction that explores topics of European cultural belief that is present in the tale, followed by a retelling of the fairy tale.

Our native spiritual beliefs as well as European cultural values are often encoded in folklore in ways that are overlooked if the reader does not possess the lens through which to view the tale. By studying ancient myth, history, and culture, we are given new eyes to peer deeper into our own folk tradition and see deep insights we never knew where there.

Mythology Magazine

Mythology Magazine published two issues in 2015. It was edited by me, but contains work by myself and several other talented authors . Both issues were very well received and stand up as quality reading in their own right. Also, some of my best articles are currently available exclusively in these two issues.  At this point, it appears that the magazine will have no more issues. But, I am planning other publications, so stay tuned.
Available in print on Amazon and as a PDF download.
