Quite a few people have asked me for more information about individual Gods, Goddesses, hence this page, which was originally posted on our sister page, Odinist.org. Most of this information will have to wait for our upcoming book on the subject, but I have gathered together some links to get you started on this quest.
The Aesir and Vanir
Please bear in mind that this is not a complete list. We shall add to it when possible from time to time so that eventually it will become so. For a more complete treatment of this subject, we direct you to our upcoming Odinist book. Join our newsletter by writing an email with “add me” in the title to odinia@outlook.com to be kept up to date on our various projects. For those already on the list, the newsletter will become active again as soon as we are able to find time to switch over to our new system.
What follows are links to some primarily religious articles, videos, interviews, including a couple poems and prayers, about various Odinist Gods, Goddesses, Elemental Deities, heroes, and festivals… We include Germanic deities and celebrations as well as Celtic and Slavic, and since they are related, and we sometimes refer to Greco-Roman, traditions as well.
Of course, in the case of our Odinist videos, there is a great deal of general information that cannot be categorized easily in this way, and some sources that deal with more than one topic, so if you wish to know more about our High Ones, festivals, legends, traditions, rituals, and customs, The Odinistpodcast Channel is a good place to go. You also may wish to visit other webpages.
A couple of these articles touch upon what are now called “political”, but which are actually tribal, pro- European topics, which relate to the essence of our tribal-ethnic holidays in as deep as, or a deeper a way than some of our historical traditions concerning them do. If you are anti-European, and this “offends” you, you are, quite frankly, not yet fit to be of our folk, but hopefully you will be able to deprogram yourself with some effort.
